Ontario is reporting 1,417 new cases of COVID-19 and 32 deaths.
The number of resolved cases outpaced new ones, according to the data released Wednesday.
There were 1,495 cases marked as resolved.
Ontario is reporting 1,417 cases of #COVID19. Locally, there are 463 new cases in Peel, 410 in Toronto and 178 in York Region. There are 1,495 more resolved cases and over 33,400 tests completed.

Ontario completed 33,440 tests, with another 36,674 under investigation.
Here’s how the numbers break down in our region:
Haldimand-Norfolk: 5 new cases, 36 active cases
Brant: 2 new cases, 52 active cases, 1 in hospital
Six Nations: 2 active cases (last update Monday)
Halton: 35 new cases, 560 active cases, 1 death, 17 in hospital
Hamilton: 39 new cases, 343 active cases, 2 deaths, 13 in hospital
There are 535 people in hospital with COVID-19 in the province. 127 are in the ICU, while 78 of those are on ventilators.
There were 109 cases of COVID-19 reported in the province’s schools.
