Ontario reporting 119 new COVID-19 cases, one new death

Ontario is reporting 119 cases of COVID-19, along with one new death.

Here is how the numbers break down in our region.

Brant County: 0 new cases

Hamilton: 2 new cases

Haldimand-Norfolk: 1 new case

Halton: 2 new cases

Niagara: 4 new cases

Windsor-Essex reported the highest number of new cases with 40.

That’s followed by Ottawa at 28 new cases and Toronto at 20 new cases.

According to numbers released Monday, about 64 per cent of new cases are those 39 and younger.

There were 102 newly resolved cases reported.

There have been a total of 38,799 cases in Ontario.

Of those, about 89 per cent are resolved.
