Ontario legislature returns for fall session

Ontario’s legislature returns for its fall session today.

But because of COVID-19, it will not be business as usual at Queen’s Park.

The Progressive Conservative government’s house leader Paul Calandra says the government will be focused on the pandemic’s impact on the economy, schools and the health-care system.

The annual budget will be delivered on Nov. 15.

A report on the government-declared state of emergency over the pandemic is also expected this session.
