One-on-one with Canadian Minister of Defence Anita Anand

Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand was in Hamilton on Friday holding a roundtable with members of the Ukrainian community and Hamilton East-Stoney Creek MP Chad Collins. The talks were about the ongoing war in Ukraine, but the minister spoke with CHCH News about a range of topics in a one-on-one interview.

Anand met with members of the Ukrainian community at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Vladimir for almost an hour, before meeting with CHCH News to discuss the federal budget, the recent visit of U.S. president Joe Biden, Canadian defence spending, and the war in Ukraine.
