One dead in Oxford County crash

First Published:

It has been a deadly weekend on the roads. In Oxford County a single car crash has taken the life of one man and sent two others to hospital.

OPP constable Ed Sanchuk released photos on twitter.

The crash happened around 11 last night in Zorra township, about 20 minutes north-west of Woodstock. Police say a vehicle was travelling on 19th Line when it lost control, crashed into a ditch, struck a hydro pole and slammed into a tree.

Police have not released the name of the driver.

Sanchuk says they are considering speed and alcohol as contributing factors in this crash.
