OHL postpones Niagara IceDogs and Hamilton Bulldogs game due to COVID-19

First Published:

The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) has postponed an upcoming game between the Niagara IceDogs and Hamilton Bulldogs due to COVID-19.

The regular-season game was set to take place at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton on Jan. 2.

OHL officials say the decision was made due to COVID-19 protocols affecting the Niagara IceDogs Hockey Club.

The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

The OHL says it will provide information on scheduling details when the new date is confirmed.

Earlier this week, a matchup that was scheduled for Dec. 31 between the Hamilton Bulldogs and Barrie Colts was postponed after the league suspended the Colts’ team activities as a result of COVID-19 protocols.
