OFM investigates two suspicious fires at Hamilton home

First Published:

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is investigating after a fire broke out at a Hamilton home for the second night in a row.

Crews were called to a house on Ottawa St. near Roxborough Ave. around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters entered the two-and-a-half storey building and extinguished the blaze.

Officials say no one was home at the time.

Police did not say if they believe the fire is connected to another fire that broke out at the home the night before.

Both fires have been deemed suspicious.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact Hamilton police.
