Oakville man arrested in commercial break and enter spree

First Published:

A 40-year-old man is facing a slew of charges in connection with a series of thefts from businesses and construction sites in Oakville.

Police say tools, equipment, and scrap metal were targeted during a break and enter spree between February and May.

Last Friday, officers executed a search warrant at an Oakville address and seized a large quantity of tools, copper, industrial equipment, and several other pieces of property believed to be stolen.

Vito Ferrari, of Oakville, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, theft, mischief and fail to comply with probation order.

Police believe more people were involved in the thefts and ask anyone with information that could help with the investigation to contact police.
