Oakville cyclist killed

A 57-year-old Oakville man was killed Sunday night when he was hit by a car as he cycled along Lakeshore road in Oakville.  Police responded just after seven at Lakeshore Road West and Third Line. The man was taken to hospital, but died a short time later. The 22-year-old man driving the SUV was not hurt.

Police are still investigation to determine whether charges will be laid. They hope witnesses will come forward or anyone who might have video.
