No injuries reported after shooting on Hamilton mountain: police

Police are investigating a shooting on the Hamilton mountain.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Monday. Police were called to reports of shots fired in the area of Upper Wellington and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Police say witnesses told them that the suspect or suspects fired multiple rounds from a firearm before taking off in a vehicle.

Police say they are treating this as a targeted incident and are asking area residents to check their surveillance cameras.
