Nine people facing gun and drug related charges in Brantford

After months-long investigation that started in the spring, Brantford police have charged three males and six females with numerous firearm and drug related charges.

On July 30th, police executed search warrants at three addresses in Brantford and one in Kitchener. A large quantity of money, Fentanyl, OxyNeo tablets, a shotgun, ammunition and two vehicles, 2013 Audi R5Q and 2016 Porsche Cayenne were seized. The estimated street value of the drugs is $198,885.

Three people were held for bail hearings, six others involved are facing charges related to the investigation and will appear in court at a later date.
