Niagara SPCA seeks donations to pay for the surgery of two dogs

Niagara SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and Humane Society are appealing to the public to help pay for the surgery of two dogs in their care.
The dogs are called Joey and Fiona. Joey is a five-month old border collie mix and Fiona is a four-year old lab mix.
Joey has an issue with his femur where it connects to his pelvis, causing him to slightly hop his back legs when walking and Fiona ruptured a ligament in the middle of her knee while playing.

Their operations are expected to cost between $4,000 to $5,000 each. The dogs have received $4000 in donations so far.
The SPCA has set up a donation form where people can contribute to either dog or split their tax-deductible donation between the two dogs.
Any donations made above what is necessary to help Fiona and Joey will be used for other animals in need of care.
