Niagara police identify suspect wanted in Ridgeway shooting, two others arrested

Niagara police say they’ve identified the shooter in Wednesday’s shooting in Ridgeway.

A 23-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in the area of Ridge Rd. N and Hibbard St. just before midnight on Wednesday.

Police say two people were arrested on Thursday.

Cole Lochhead, 19, of Fort Erie, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault.

A 16-year-old girl, also from Fort Erie, faces the same charges.

Detective say they’re looking for 19-year-old Kia Pagan-Sandino of Fort Erie.

He is believed to be the shooter and is wanted for several charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Assault
  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Discharge a Firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a Firearm
  • Careless use of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Fail to comply with Release Order and Fail to comply with Probation order

They say he is known to frequent Fort Erie and Port Colborne. He is considered armed and dangerous.
