Niagara police arrest 17-year-old in Niagara Falls 7-Eleven robbery

A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged for a convenience store robbery in Niagara Falls.

Officers were called to a robbery at the 7-Eleven on Dorchester Rd., near Thorold Stone Rd., around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police say a male entered the store and demanded cash while threatening a female employee with a knife.

She was not injured.

The male ran from the store but the K9 unit was able to track him down to a residence in the area of Crawford St. and Thorold Stone Rd.

A 17-year-old Niagara Falls male has been arrested and charged with robbery.
