In Niagara, the snow was a little slower to develop today. The region experienced wetter conditions early on, but after a treacherous storm during the Christmas holidays, residents in the Niagara Falls area are taking caution, and the city is bracing for the worst.
A projected snowfall of up to 15 centimeters by Environment Canada already has some homeowners quick to clear their driveways.
Niagara’s Public and Catholic schools remain open, but they axed their bus services and rescheduled exams until tomorrow.
The City of Niagara Falls says 35 snow removal vehicles will be working into the night, covering more than 14 kilometers of road.
