Netanyahu vows to invade Rafah even with a ceasefire deal

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying today that Israeli troops will “enter Rafah and eliminate the Hamas battalions there – with or without a deal.”

Talks of a ceasefire and the release of more hostages are currently being held indirectly between Hamas and Israel, but now there is worry that Netanyahu’s comments could impact any hope of moving forward.
