Ontario’s NDP leader, Andrea Horwath officially launched her campaign and the party has promised it will be the biggest in its history.
Hundreds gathered in Hamilton today to show their support for NDP leader Andrea Horwath who says her party is gaining strength and moving in a whole new direction, and Horwath, who was nominated as a candidate in her riding of Hamilton Centre, told the crowd that she’s running to win.
Today it was all about reiterating platform promises to her followers.
In order to make her promises into reality, if elected, Horwath suggests it’s time for the wealthy to pay their fair share.
The NDP plans to raise the corporate tax rate from 11.5% to 13%.
Horwath says she plans to knock on more doors than ever before with less than 40 days until voters head to the polls.
