Naked intruder breaks into Norfolk County home, wakes up residents

A Norfolk County resident has been arrested after he allegedly broke into two homes while in the nude.

Ontario Provincial Police were called to reports of a break and enter at a home on Concession 13 in Townsend around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Police learned someone forced their way inside the home and ultimately woke up the residents. The intruder was confronted by the homeowners and fled on foot.

While officers were searching the area, a second call came into police about a person with a similar description attempting to break into a home on Highway 24.

Officers went to the home and arrested a 35-year-old Norfolk County resident.

The accused has been charged with break and enter, mischief, and three counts of trespassing at night.
