Nabbing speeders from the air

First Published:

Police on this side of the border want to slow you down, especially if you’re a driver that likes to put the pedal to the metal.  This week, the OPP in several districts including Niagara were watching drivers from the ground and from the air.  Using their aircraft, they laid 30 charges, most for speeding.  One driver was clocked going nearly 160 kilometres an hour.  That person was charged with stunting and lost their car and licence for a week.
