Musical Prodigy makes Canadian debut in Niagara

First Published:

An American piano prodigy is making his Canadian debut tonight in Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Brandon Goldberg isn’t your typical 12-year-old boy.

He began playing piano, by ear, when he was just three.

His passion is jazz music.

His influences include musicians like Oscar Peterson, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra.

He says it’s hard to pick a favourite.

From Miami, Florida, Brandon is making his Canadian debut in Niagara.

Brandon says he loves to perform for his audience but gets a thrill out of composing his own music.

Brandon performed at Stratus Vineyards tonight in Niagara-on-the-Lake as part of the Bravo Niagara’s spring into music at Stratus series.
