A first degree murder warrant has been issued for a man believed to have fled to the Philippines.

46 year old Fernando de Castro, who worked as a house cleaner, is believed to have attended the home of the victim, 78 year old Manijeh Bostani-Khamsi, last November 16th. Bostani-Khamsi was found dead a day later in the apartment in the Wynford Drive and Eglinton Avenue East area. Police say her body showed obvious signs of injury. Police say de Castro and his wife arrived in Canada in 2007 as visitors, and worked as house cleaners in Toronto. The couple have since fled Canada, and are believed to be in the Philippines. Anyone with more information is asked to call police.
