Enjoy the winter outdoors by trying Disc Golf at Hamilton’s King’s Forest Golf Club

Tim Bolen learned disc golf from the third top disc golfer in Canada, Chris Ozolins.

Chris, from Ontario Disc Sports Association, designed his own championship level 18-hole disc golf course at King’s Forest in Hamilton where anyone can go play.

Disc golf mixes golf and frisbee. Each hole has a short, middle and long artificial turf tee pad, and the goal is to get the disc into the hole- usually a metal basket- in the fewest number of strokes.

It is free to play, but you do have to reserve a spot, and if you need frisbees there is a lending program available on site, or you can buy them there as well.

You can play at King’s Forest from now until March 11, 2022.
