It wasn’t quite the sweep that the CBC production experienced at the Emmy’s, but the final season of “Schitt’s Creek” is ending on a “Golden” note. The Canadian sitcom won best television series in a musical or comedy at last night’s Golden Globes, and Catherine O’Hara took home best television actress in a musical or comedy. The series about a wealthy family that loses everything and moves to a small town wrapped up its six-season run last year. It had been nominated for five Goilden Globes. Schitt’s Creek became a worldwide hit after it was picked up by Netflix.
CHCH-TV started broadcasting in 1954 and is proud to be the news leader for Hamilton and the surrounding Halton and Niagara regions.
