We are learning more about the two-car crash that killed two people on the Red Hill Valley Parkway in Hamilton Tuesday.

Police say the driver was a 49 year old Hamilton man and his passenger was a 71 year old Hamilton woman.

Police say their names will not be released at the request of the family.

Investigators say their car entered the south bound lanes of the parkway from the Barton Street ramp and went out of control, colliding with a cargo truck.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.
