Mohawk College is celebrating Day of Pink.

Day of Pink is an international day of awareness to stop bullying, discrimination, homophobia, and transphobia.

The coordinator for the human services foundation program at Mohawk, Marco Felvus, says this is the seventh year of celebrating diversity.

“We really tried to embed diversity and inclusion in everything we do. So that’s one of the reasons why it is super-important that we celebrate diversity here at Mohawk.”

Day of Pink includes interactive games where students can learn about lesbian, gay, by-sexual, transgender and queer topics.
