Modified HSR schedule in effect as COVID-19 cases continue to rise

First Published:

Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) says a new modified winter schedule is now in effect as the transit provider deals with the surge in COVID-19 cases.

HSR says the changes have been made in an effort to continue to provide reliable service as Omicron cases rise.

The following changes will be in effect until April 30:

  • Reduced weekday schedules (summer service level) on routes 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 33, 34, 35, 41, 43, 55 and 58.
  • Reduced weekday service will continue on route 51.
  • School extras may operate depending on the status of in-person classes.

HSR says regular Saturday and Sunday schedules will continue to operate.

Over the weekend, HSR said updated schedule PDFs are in production and the HSRnow Trip planner webpage and HSRnow app have up-to-date schedule information.
