Ministry of Labour investigates death at Waste Management Stoney Creek facility

The Ministry of Labour is investigating the death of a worker at the Waste Management facility in Stoney Creek.

Hamilton Police say it happened just before 6 p.m. on Monday. The man was in his 50s.

The worker was struck by the bed of a truck as it was being lowered.

The Ministry of Labour has issued one unspecified requirement to Waste Management.

The investigation continues.
