Mini Hamilton

The City of Hamilton and other areas of the GTHA have been shrunk down into an incredibly detailed model at a warehouse in Mississauga.

The finishing touches are still being added to the exhibit.

The exhibit it includes many Hamilton staples like the Arcelormittal Dofasco industrial area, the Hamilton Mountain and even the CHCH house.

There’s also a perfect 20-foot replica of the Skyway Bridge complete with a crashed dump-truck just like the one that slammed into the skyway back in 2014.

The project “Our Home and Miniture Land” began last year when the Toronto portion was completed.

Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer founded it and he has big plans for the future.

He is still looking for investors before the exhibit is open to the public. He’s hoping for the end of 2017.
