Men charged with stunt driving on the Red Hill Valley Pkwy & Claremont Access

On Tuesday, just shortly after midnight, a 20 year old man was charged with stunt driving after police caught him doing 172 km on the Red Hill Valley Pkwy.

The man was going almost 82 km over the speed limit. The 20 year old was spotted near Greenhill Avenue in a Hyundai SUV.

In a separate incident, just after 12:00pm, a 25 year old man was stopped by Hamilton police, going a 132km in a 70km zone, up-bound on the Claremont Access.

Both men had their licence taken away and vehicles were impounded for seven days. If convicted, the minimum find for first time offenders in Ontario is $2000. That fine can go up to $10000.
