Man wanted in Musitano murder found dead in Mexico: Hamilton Police

A man wanted in the murder of Angelo Musitano has been killed in Mexico, Hamilton Police say.

Michael Cudmore was one of three men wanted in the shooting death of Musitano at his Waterdown home in 2017.

The trio were also wanted in the murder of Mila Barberi.

Police say Cudmore was found dead in Mexico in June 2020. His body was recovered in an abandoned vehicle at the side of a rural road.

Hamilton Police say his family has not heard from him since he fled to Mexico in May 2017.

Police believe Cudmore had been in Mexico with Daniele Ranieri, a person of interest in the Musitano and Barberi murders.

Ranieri was found murdered and his body left in a ditch in Mexico in March 2018.

In 2018, police arrested Jabirl Abdalla for the Barberi and Musitano murders.

A preliminary  hearing was held this month and he is awaiting a trial date.

Meanwhile, police still have an arrest warrant out for Daniel Tomassetti of Ancaster.

Police say he fled to Mexico on January 27, 2018, and has not returned to Canada.

  1. It’s also IMPERATIVE to note that Jabirl Abdalla has been released on bail in Hamilton, ON as of April 2020. Charged with murder, and released on bail. Horrific to the (non-mob) families affected.
