Man wanted after consecutive gas station robberies in Niagara Falls

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man following consecutive robberies Wednesday morning.

Officers said the first robbery happened around 4:50 a.m. in the area of Drummond and McLeod roads in Niagara Falls.

The second robbery occurred around 5:15 a.m. in the area of Thorold Stone and Dorchester roads in Niagara Falls.

Police said a suspect with a handgun entered both gas stations and stole cash and lottery tickets before fleeing the scene.

Detectives have surveillance footage of the suspect and believe the same suspect committed the two robberies.

The male suspect is described as white, between 35 to 45 years old and having blonde hair in a bun and shaved on the sides. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants and black boots.

Police are asking the public to not approach the suspect as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
