Man suffers minor injuries after house fire in Niagara Falls

Niagara police say one man has minor injuries following a house fire early Wednesday morning.

Fire crews responded to the blaze around 12:30 a.m. at a home between Iroquois Ave. and Sherk Rd. along the Niagara River Parkway.

While everyone was able to get out of the house safely, officers said one man burnt his hands.

Police said it is no longer an active fire, but crews are still at the scene looking for hotspots.
