Man killed in Hagersville rollover

A man, 41, is dead after a rollover in Hagersville early Monday.

Police say he was thrown from the car after losing control of his PT Cruiser. The car went off the road and into the ditch.

It happened around 7:30 am on Haldimand Road 55, southwest of Hagersville.

He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police haven’t identified the man yet; they do say speed – and not wearing his seatbelt – factored in his death.

The road was closed for several hours for the investigation. Brittany Gogo reports:
