Police say a man in his 20s has died in a house fire in Westdale, near McMaster University.
Police say emergency services responded to Traymore Avenue on Wednesday shortly after 8 p.m. for reports of a house fire.
Officers who arrived on scene described flames coming from windows and smoke emanating from within residence.
Firefighters located a man inside the house without vital signs. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate.
