Man charged with attempted murder of sex worker in Hamilton

A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a sex worker in Hamilton.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a home where a woman in her 40s had been sexually assaulted.

Peter Pasco, of Woodstock, has been charged with attempted murder.

Detectives from the Hamilton Police Sexual Assault Unit have taken over the investigation and believe that there may be more victims.

Investigators say Pasco is known to travel “over a large geographical area.”

Police are encouraging sexual assault survivors to contact the Sexual Assault Unit at 905-540-5553 to report a crime.
