Man charged after police find over $100K worth of fentanyl in car: Halton Police

A Stoney Creek man faces charges after police found over $100,000 worth of fentanyl during a traffic stop in Burlington.

Halton Police say an officer saw a vehicle speeding in the area of Billings Court and South Service Road around 7 p.m. Sunday.

The driver was pulled over and police say they had grounds to search the vehicle.

Officers seized approximately 300 grams of fentanyl, valued at over $100,000, as well as $15,000 in cash.

Parteek Ghuman, 19, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and obstruction of a peace officer.
