Hamilton police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a fire at a downtown restaurant.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, the general manager of The Mule on King William St. was contacted about a fire on the outside patio the restaurant.
Police say surveillance video shows a man pouring a flammable liquid onto a wood serving table and setting a wall planter on fire.
The man can then be seen walking southbound on Hughson St. North towards King William St.
A delivery driver from a nearby business was in the area and spotted the fire. He quickly jumped into action and extinguished the blaze with water.
Police say the fire caused minor damage to the property.
On Wednesday, officers arrested Shawn Murray, of no fixed address. He has been charged with arson.
Murray has been released from custody and is expected to appear in court on June 30.
