Mailboxes lit on fire in Norfolk County

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated arsons in Norfolk County Sunday Oct. 24 at around 9:17 a.m.

It was determined that unknown people intentionally lit a mailbox on fire at a Windham Road 10, Windham, Norfolk County address.

Police say that a neighbour on the same roadway also had their mailbox destroyed by an intentionally lit fire.

A video surveillance camera in the area captured a vehicle at approximately 4:23 a.m.

Investigators are reviewing the video surveillance footage in an attempt to identify the vehicle and individual(s) involved.

Police are asking all residents in the area of Windham Road 10 with video surveillance systems to check their footage to see if they captured the suspects vehicle involved between 12:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
