As the Liberals get to work on their campaign promise to legalize marijuana, they’ve called on the former Toronto police chief to take a lead role. Bill Blair was elected as the MP for Scarborough southwest in October and was named one of two parliamentary secretaries to the Minister of Justice last month.

When he was police chief, Blair came out in favour of legalizing marijuana and now he’ll help make up the new marijuana laws. The Liberal’s have yet to outline a pot plan; including where pot would be sold, how it would be taxed and what happens to the profits.
