The news of convicted killer Karla Homolka volunteering at an elementary school in Montreal has angered parents in that community and is equally disturbing to people in the hometowns of her victims, Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy.

Homolka has been volunteering at her children’s school for several months and even participated in a class field trip. The private Christian school was aware of Homolka’s past before she started volunteering there.

This is what one parent at the school had to say. “We don’t want her there, we don’t want her in the school. How would you feel knowing your child is interacting with someone who is a serial killer? It’s not right.”
