John Adam Greene jailed indefinitely

First Published:

A 30-year-old Hamilton man who was called a violent psychopath by an expert witness during his dangerous offender hearing has been jailed indefinitely.

John Adam Greene, who was recorded kicking a correctional officer in the chest while his psychiatric assessment was taking place and then biting another officer’s arm, had already racked up dozens of convictions when he was charged with beating, sexually assaulting and attempting to murder a 7-year-old girl last year.

As Greene was being escorted out of the courtroom yesterday after being declared a dangerous offender, he pointed both of his hands, as if they were a gun, at the young girl’s mother, and said – quote – “I’m gonna get you back”.

A police detective walked over to the sobbing family members and whispered, ”He’s never getting out again.”
