Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have welcomed their firstborn child.
A beaming Harry spoke to media and said he was “incredibly proud” of his wife after she gave birth to a baby boy early Monday.
The baby boy was born at 5:26 a.m. and weighs 7 lbs, 3 oz.
“The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives,” reads a post on the couple’s official Instagram page.
The infant, now the seventh in line to the British throne, has not yet been named.
