Injuries cause recall on thousands of Peloton bikes

First Published:

Peloton has issued a voluntary recall on pedals used on about 27000 of its exercise bikes after reports of injuries.

There have been more than a hundred reports of the pedals breaking and reports of more than a dozen injuries.

The recall applies only to first-generation pedals ‘p-r-70-p.’

The pedal was sold between July 20-13 and May 20-16.

Peloton says to stop using bikes with that type of pedal and get a replacement from the company.
