Human remains found at Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls: Niagara police

Human remains have been discovered at Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls, police say.

Officers were called to the area of Brown Rd. and Heartland Forest Rd. on Tuesday for an ambulance assist.

“The initial investigation by officers at the Heartland Forest resulted in the discovery of human remains,” said police in an email to CHCH News.

The main trail and forest areas are closed for the police investigation.

Police and forensic services are investigating.
