About two years ago, a very serious issue came to light at one of Hamilton’s inner city schools.  An unusually high number of teachers were being diagnosed with cancer and several passed away.  Michael Borrelli, the Second Vice-President of the Hamilton Secondary Unit and Lisa Owens, President of Cancer Assistance Program was here this morning to talk about a fundraiser that is coming up next year to bring awareness to the program in light of the teachers suffering with the disease.
