How to deal with mental health struggles and stigmas as a parent

May is Mental Health Awareness month and this topic hits pretty close to a lot of moms who have struggled.

This morning we were joined by two moms, co-founder of Mabel’s Labels, Julie Cole, and writer and mental health advocate Annie Lawton, who discussed the kind of experiences they have had and what conversations are happening out there.

Annie is also the Community Champion for the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Run for Women that takes place June 17th at Confederation Park. The run raise funds to ensure women have access to the very best mental health and addictions care at St. Joe’s.
