Housing minister disappointed after Hamilton city council votes against expanding urban boundary

Last Friday Hamilton city councillor’s voted down a huge expansion to the city’s urban boundary. The expansion was proposed by the provincial government as a way to deal with population growth. Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Steve Clark joined us to discuss the decision.

  1. Until the province and the city does something about the traffic issues in Hamilton and surrounding areas the boundary should not move. The Redhill and Linc and the QEW through Burlington needs to be expanded….perhaps a 3rd bridge over the canal
