Hope Hicks testimony ends; Trump hush money trial

She was at one time considered one of former U.S. president Donald Trump’s closest confidantes. His most trusted aide.

Hope Hicks is now being questioned by prosecutors in the New York criminal hush money trial against the former president.

She’s discussed her role as Trump’s press secretary during the 2016 election, including the aftermath of that brutal “Access Hollywood” tape.

With the campaign in crisis mode, prosecutors say it’s what drove Trump to pay off anyone with negative stories… including adult film star, Stormy Daniels.
