Homicide detectives investigate human remains found in Niagara Falls

Niagara police are investigating after the body of a man was found in Niagara Falls.

Officers were called after the grisly discovery was made in a wooded area near Marshall Rd. and Ort Rd. around 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the case is now under investigation by detectives from the homicide and forensic services unit. The coroner will also be investigating.

Anyone who may have been in the area between 6 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Sunday is being asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, ext. 4406.
