As successful as the first Ride Along was, it wasn’t a particularly good movie. A sequel was made however and it suffered from the same problems as most comedy sequels, mainly too many recycled gags from the original film and a lack of creativity. The dynamic that Kevin Hart and Ice Cube have is entertaining though, and the disc’s special features give a behind the scenes look at their camaraderie with features like “Kevin & Cube: Brothers-in-Law” and “The Ride Along Round Table”. There are also six deleted scenes, an audio commentary from director Tim Story, and a seven-part feature highlighting the film’s production.

Released last December, Krampus played up its B-movie vibe and ended up receiving some pretty positive reviews from critics, currently sitting at 66% on Rotten Tomatoes. And while it didn’t take off in theatres the film made a tidy profit for Universal bringing in $61.5M worldwide. The home video release includes a bevy of features including deleted scenes, an audio commentary from director Michael Dougherty and co-writers Todd Casey and Zach Shields, and a five-part making of feature.
